Gutter cleaning
Cleaning gutters WITH THE ALL-NEW SkYVAC SYSTEM.
The purpose of gutters on buildings and houses is to get rid of the rain water that lands on the roof as efficiently and quickly as possible by means of the rain water running off the roof into the gutters then down the down-pipes into the drainage system.
It’s a fairly simple and straight forward process providing nothing gets in the way to stop that process like blockages or damage and worn joint seals.
People tend to be reactive when it comes to gutter maintenance, a bit of a “out of sight, out of mind” approach and only deal with them when problems occur.
Gutters like paving/decking need regular maintenance, most need cleaned annually or every other year. We usually schedule gutter cleaning to happen once the leaves have blown off the trees. The majority of leaves get blown onto rooftops and end up in your gutters. Its simple to remove them and regular cleaning helps to prevent big expensive problems, blocked down-pipes and floods.
Don’t wait until your gutters & down-pipes are blocked, leaking or have water coming into your property or internal damp problems before contacting us. Having your gutters cleaned regularly will be much cheaper than having to deal with leaks and damp problems.
We use the all new SkyVac gutter cleaning system which is a state of the art carbon fibre pole system which can reach up to 4 floors high (1o metres) and reach areas where ladders and scaffolding can’t. This is powered by the World’s most powerful free-standing vacuum cleaner.
We vacuum out the gutters with the system and it can also clean inside the top of the down-pipe and check if it is flowing properly.
In some cases we do still need to use ladders if any joints or seals have come loose which can happen with windy weather.
