Now here’s a novel idea for filling in the potholes out on the roads.

While Yorkshire Pressure Clean have had their fair share of oil stain, fuel stain and paint stain removal we’ve never been called to remove chocolate from paving before.

I bet the smell was lovely while clearing it up and much nicer than dealing with oil or diesel stains.

Judging by the photos it looks like it was hard work removal all the chocolate (a tonne of the stuff).

This is what a tonne of frozen chocolate looks like, not sure how many calories that adds up to….

I guess cleaning up a tonne of chocolate would be nicer than cleaning up 24 tonnes of lard……

I don’t envy whoever had the task of cleaning this mess up…

Welcome to Yorkshire Pressure Clean's very first blog.

Hello and welcome to our very first blog, my name is Jonathan Ward and I’m the owner of Yorkshire Pressure Clean which is part of Yorkshire Driveway Cleaning. We’ll aim to do minimum of one blog per month and try and keep it as interesting and informative as we can.

This month with enquiries and work being a bit quiet we’ve been doing a bit of jet washing/pressure washing call it what you will volunteering work for a local hospice in Pontefract called The Prince of Wales Hospice.

We wanted to give something back to the local community and do our bit for a very worthwhile charity so what better way to help than cleaning their dirty paving. We jet washed the paving in the garden and also the paving around the hospice over two days.

Hopefully once the weather improves the staff. visitors and patients can spend some quality time in the lovely garden.
